The Snowdon Mountain Railwayopened to passengers in 1896. Starting at Llanberis Station, and continuing to the Summit Station just 66 ft below the Summit of Mount Snowdon itself, the little train chugs past a spectacular cascading waterfall, through an ancient oak forest, along open country side where you'll see old and abandoned homes and grazing sheep. When the weather is clear the Summit views are breathtaking!
