Snowflake templates are designs I created that are based upon actual snow and ice crystal classifications. Refer to the snow classification charts to determine to which category each template image belongs.

Because no two snowflakes are alike, at least after they get past that initial one cell incubation state. That's probably not a very accurate way to describe a snow flake's birth, but hey, just like it is with everything else, people included...once they grow up, not all wind up symmetrical and some are just plain wierd looking.

All snow flakes begin as a single ice crystal, hexagonal in shape. These templates are available in three different formats: stencils, color book and folding patterns.
